Journey with Bre: Merging Shadows with Light
In our work together, I embrace every facet of your story—the light, the shadows, and all the unique complexities that make you who you are.
As a bisexual queer woman, I offer a therapeutic space that is affirming and inclusive of queer, kink, and poly identities.Having embraced my LGBTQ+ identity in early adulthood, I understand the nuances of navigating personal identity and relationships. Together, we'll explore your values, desires, and needs in a judgment-free environment.
My approach integrates mind and body, recognizing their constant communication. I incorporate mindfulness and somatic practices to address the whole person, not just thoughts. My specialties and certifications include Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Psychedelic Preparation and Integration, and Yoga. I draw from modalities such as Expressive Arts, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodrama, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Polyvagal Theory.
I studied Social Work in my home state of Connecticut and relocated to San Diego in 2019. I've found solace in its natural beauty and vibrant community. Nature, creativity, mindfulness, yoga, music, play, and humor are how I like to take care of my own wellbeing.
Whether you're seeking relief or navigating life's challenges, your journey is honored here. Let's explore therapeutic approaches that resonate with you, and empower you to be present and active in your life. Reach out, and let’s take that first step towards wellness together.
